Last Sunday I had yet another holiday show. It is a fundraiser for a local elementary school. Good mix of vendors, charming school and a great crowd.
I woke up at 5:30 a.m. I left my house at 6:30 with a VERY packed car. 7:00 I arrived at the school with Starbucks in hand to unload and set up my spot. I have two hours to work like a madwoman as the doors open at 9:00. I did it, but I was down to the wire on time.
I ended up with a great booth configuration. I was on the end of a row so I got to do a U shaped booth with me in the center and a little gap to go in and out of.
Half the reason my set up takes so long is that I have so many littles to put out. I sure like a booth full of color and bling though.
This is the bottom of the U of my booth as you round the corner.
I like using the unexpected in some of my displays and this vintage dish drainer worked well to hold some of my putz houses. I actually put two dish drainers into action for this show.
This was the back side of my booth which was on another aisle.
What a day. Super busy with customers pretty much non stop the entire event. I saw lots of returning customers and friends. Some folks mentioned they came because of my IG posts. I saw blog readers. It really was loads of fun.
4 p.m. the doors closed and I had my car loaded and was on the road by 5. A long day, but worth it. One more show to go. Crafty Wonderland this weekend. The biggest and craziest show I do!
Maddie and I really want to come to this show next year! We are nominating ourselves as your helpers if you need us.
See you Saturday! Will you have any spun head girls? I missed out on getting one at Plucky and on Etsy. I need a new one for my collection!

I would be in SO much trouble if I came to your show! How could I ever decide??? It is all just perfect, from the goodies themselves to the way you organize and display it all. I bet you are the biggest hit at the show!
Amazing!!!

Girl, when do you sleep? I can't believe my eyes when I see the number of items you have at your shows. I bet Christmas will seem restful after all the hustle and bustle of doing shows. It all looks wonderful.

UGH! I've been so busy lately I haven't checked your blog first thing like I've been doing for a few years now! That's the only thing about IG since you can peek on your phone so quick. Nothing beats a blog though esp yours :-)
I still love looking at it and reading your stories! Beautiful displays as usual. So cheery to look at!
One more show to go and maybe you'll get a little rest?

Those shows are a lot of work. I did them back in my youth-- wouldn't be up for it today! Great displays you create!
