Cupids. I am putting out my Valentine decorations and am thrilled to add this pair of cupids that I got off Ebay this year.
There little light bulbs do light up and are the cutest couple. They have inspired me to share a little cupid collection today.
These are all tiny plastic baby rattles. I guess they could be angels with their tiny harps, but they live with my Valentine goodies.
Pack-O-Fun magazine, dated 1960. Dr. Cupid.
I have quite a few cupid cutouts used for decorating. These are about 8 inches tall and have hinged legs which I don't find often.
About 8 inches tall and cardboard with foil.
About 8 inches tall and a boy and a GIRL cupid. Note her ponytail.
I have a ton of these that were used for Valentine crafting. They are about 2 inches tall and I have some in the original cellophane. Original price of dime for 8 cupids.
Teeny cupid stickers. (that circle is a penny for size..it is so dirty that you can't tell it is a penny)
Darling cardboard Cupid die cuts that are about 4 inches tall. I found a bunch of these and kept some. (Some are listed in my E is for Ethel Etsy shop).
I couldn't resist these hand drawn cupids from long ago mounted on tattered doilies.
The flip side of some of my holiday seals have a darling Cupid.
This book of stickers was a giveaway with potato chips in 1954. I bought about 12 of these books at an estate sale so evidently someone was buying lots of chips to get the cute stickers.
A darling little foil cupid on an old party favor cup. I love that the name was "Lori" like mine (although I spell mine differently).
I have a collection of Valentine card boxes and many of them feature cute little cupids on the covers.
Cupids. If you have an idea for a future challenge, leave me a comment and finish the sentence "Show me your collection of ____." Cupid's arrow will be flying as Valentine's Day approaches. Watch out for them! The expression on this little boys face says it all...I don't think he is quite ready for that arrow of love.
I remember when you posted about the light up cupids! Those are such an awesome find and definitely something that you may never see out in the wild. Still debating on whether or not I'm going to get out all of my Valentines Day decorations or not. My house is in a major state of disarray since we are putting new flooring down and painting. I don't want all of my pretty things to get lost in the shuffle.
Have a great day!

I love it when you show us something you have found and it's new to me. There were several items that I hadn't seen before. I can't wait to see how you use them.

"Dr" Cupid is hilarious! Agree that little fellow in the last photo looks quite panic-stricken by love - LOL

I remember the day you shared those cupid lights too. They definitely needed to be rescued by you. They are just wonderful. Your whole cupid collection is wonderful.

Love the cupids! I have a vast collection of Valentine cards/postcards (I'm sure that comes as a surprise to you - lol), but love the cupid-ity of these! I remember prizes in potato chips, too - my brother was collecting some sort of token that had the Apollo rockets on them!

Love all of your Cupids! Those light up cupids are a total score! I haven't seen anything like that at all. I have a couple of those red paper cupids. Can't wait to see your finished Valentine decorations.

I wonder why everyone used to write their names on everything they owned like they did on that Valentine crafting box. I always find it interesting when names are on pottery and music books. I have those matching ceramic cupids, but for some reason I always saw them as angels. But the "no pants" did throw me off! I guess I should put them with teh Valentine's Days stuff after all.
