Yes, you read the title correctly...dust pans. I pick them up if they have that certain "look".
I like them plain. No fancy designs. I like good colors and when they look like they have seen some good use.
My favorite are those that are smaller in scale or intended for child play.
This pink one is a favorite and I just found it the other day.
I was doubly happy to find the pink dustpan as it will replace one that I stupidly left out for the winter. Cold, damp weather and old paint are not friends. (old on the left, new on the right)
One of these days I am going to figure out some fun little display for them. I do have a cute little family of them.
If you have an idea for a future collection challenge, leave me a comment and finish the sentence "Show me your collection of ____." A new collection each Tuesday...some stranger than others!
Only you would post a collection of dust pans! I love the bright blue one. Amazing the difference between the two pink ones. Glad you found a new one.

Annette stole the words right out of my mouth! Only you would find enough to make a collection. Who would have guessed there would be so many colors! Neat.

These are wonderful. They would make a great valance in a laundry room, all hung up in a row along the top of a window.

Pretty in pink ! A fun and most unusual collection ... I love the way you think ! I really like Jennifer's idea of a laundry room valance as well.

What are the odds of finding another pink dust pan identical to the one that got ruined? I have three old dustpans and they are hanging in my laundry room. I'll have to be on the lookout for some child sized ones for Norah to play with. You can bet I will be putting that little girl to work when she comes and visits me. Her mama owes me :-)

That is a cute collection. I saw once where they had a collection of those little straw hand brooms hanging on an old rake head. I was thinking your dustpan collection would look so cute next to that!

Love your collection! The only dustpans I've seen at sales are big industrial ones or cheapy plastic ones. I look at everything so differently now because of you and your collections and how your repurpose vintage things π
They look great altogether in your last picπ

Neat collection! I have two or three (yikes) of the variety with graphics on them and can never quite figure out how to display them. Bummer the paint didn't hold up outside.

They do have a charm. Nostalgia is my besetting sin (well one of them)and so often your collections brings back a long forgotten memory. Great brain exercise. And now I am remembering the yellow tin dust pan my mom hung in the cellar stairwell with a loop of yard on a ten penny nail she hammered into the wall. I'm also remembering the stricken look on my dad's face when he saw her handiwork. What is it with men and nail holes anyway? Angels to you, and best wishes for a profitable Spring selling season.
