Since today is St. Patty's Day I thought it may be interesting to show how a collection has grown. I did a post on St. Patty's day on #96.
Here is my collection in 2012.
St. Patrick's day is not the easiest holiday to hunt down. There is just not a ton of stuff out there.
My die cut cardboard leprechauns have grown a bit in numbers. I was lucky this year and got an old Dennison sample catalog on Ebay. I color copied some of the die cuts and mounted them on cardboard. The red haired gal on the right is from that book.
This cotton head couple is a favorite find. They look like they are about to break into a jig.
This crepe paper fellow was an Ebay score. I added some clay pipes intended for St. Patty's day to help him stand.
The St. Patrick's day pins on original cards were new finds this year. The leprechaun boy on the left was gifted by Kim K.
My most recent find was this sweet ceramic gal. It was sitting on a kitchen window sill at an estate sale just waiting for me.
It is always fun to pull out a holiday bin each year and see what treasures have been found since the last holiday. I still have the hats in the first photo, but just didn't have them out this year. Sometimes I mix up what I put out year to year.
If you have an idea for a future collection challenge, leave me a comment and finish the sentence "Show me your collection of ___". Remember to wear green today!
Your collection really has grown in three years! I just love all your die cut cardboard pieces. It's definitely a hard holiday to decorate for and you've got some neat treasures! Happy St. Patty's day!!

I love all the vintage Dennison - I know I've told you that I grew up just a few miles from Dennison in Framingham, MA. Framingham is actually nicknamed "Tag Town" because of Dennison's presence there till they merged with Avery in the 90's. Thanks for sharing all your goodies with us!

Hard to find, or not, you have accumulated a great collection. I really do need to clear off a shelf somewhere and do seasonal decorating. I just love seeing yours!

Drool!
I can't believe how much St.Patty's decorations I've acquired in the last couple years or so. I just had a little leprechaun and you gave me the honeycomb centerpiece and that was really it! After that I found a few honeycomb things at one place in Eugene and last year I got a bunch more. None like your cute big leprechaun die-cuts though!
Thanks for sharing! Love seeing it all ;-)

I have a single St. Pat's decoration and I just found it a couple of weeks ago at a sale in Corvallis. I better get moving on my collection! Love the red haired Dennison girl. We are thinking Norah may be a little redhead. Our dad had strawberry blonde hair and Matt has the hair color of an Irish Setter :-) It's the only way I can ever think to describe it!
