I found a couple more children's records last weekend. They were Easter records which I am partial to. I found the two on the right at an antique mall.
I found a couple more Easter records about a month ago as well. (I stuck the records away and now I can't locate them. This photo is from my estate sale post). The bunny hop looks to me like quite a popular dance and record.
My favorite records are those that have darling graphics printed on the record themselves. I have two of the same record.
I was only going to do Easter records on this challenge, but realized I have some other fun records stashed away. I had to share them as well.
Flip side of the above record.
Sometimes I only find the record cover and no record. This one was in a free box.
There are certainly quite a few titles out there to still hunt down.
This father is such a handsome fellow.
Of course I have a few Christmas records.
Happy Birthday records. Look at the expression on the little girl's face as she eyes that slice of cake. A silly collection. I don't even have a record player! Collected just for the graphics and themes.
If you have an idea for a future collection challenge, leave me a comment and finish the sentence "Show me your collection of ______." A new collection each Tuesday.
I bought a bunch of children's records at an estate sale a while back and promptly passed them onto Norah. She absolutely loves music. I would have kept them but seeing her little face light up when she hears the silly songs makes it worth letting them go!

I'm partial to children's records too. The jacket covers and the picture albums are so fun to collect. I have several of the picture ones hanging in my craft room wall and then I've filled a plastic basket with others that I've collected. Josie loves listening to them in my craft room. You have found some darling Easter themed ones.

Oh, wouldn't it be fun to hear them! I saw one of those children's suitcase type record players just the other day and now I know who needs one!.

Love anything vintage Birthday! I have that same Hippity Hop/Pop record - it is so sweet! I love the old colored records - I have red and yellow. They have the cutest graphics on the labels. I keep thinking I will come up with an idea to use them - but not yet!

I just love the graphics on these record jackets. They ooze charm! I can remember playing the Teddy Bear's Picnic over and over again as a child! There was something wonderful about imagining a picnic where teddy bears were your guests.

I had that Bunny Hop record! Isn't it amazing something that I hadn't seen for 45 years or more and there it is!

I love seeing the Chipmunks before they were developed into the more characterized styling. I have none of the 45 records but I have picked up a few albums because of the precious graphics.

Sweet post!
Love the records with the graphics right on them! I have a few but they're just Christmas ones.
The last one with Alvin and the Chipmunks looks really old. Thanks for sharing. Nice to see your blog too :-)
