I hit one estate sale today. The list to sign up was supposed to come out at 9 and I got there early to wait for it to appear. It was out when I pulled up to the sale so I signed up and was #4. The sale did not start for a bit so I left and got all my errands done BEFORE the sale started. Such a good use of my time!
The green netting with the pom pom fringe I think will be for some of my shows this year. I always try to mix up my displays and I think that netting will add some fun color.
I bought a box of random Halloween. It had crafty stuff plus a small plastic pumpkin. The real reason I bought it was because I spotted on of my favorite Rosbro witches in the midst of it. I was also intrigued by the candle with the leaves. I had never seen it before. When I flipped it over.
A new to me GURLEY candle!
The woman that lived in this house was crafty and she also liked pink. She was my kind of lady!
I even found pink plastic doilies. I get such a kick out of those.
I got a box of vintage Easter chicks WITH WIRE FEET. (you may remember my foot fetish..if you don't you can read about it here)
Santa came home with me.
I always grab Christmas seals and tags when I find them.
This arrangement will be taken apart. I bought it for the pixies. The pixies are in an OLD SHOE that someone has painted gold and added macaroni to for a festive touch.
I bought an old beach towel for my "someday beach house". I have a small collection of them.
My favorite find of the day was my quirkiest. I have a thing for vintage storks and swans. I am digging this watering can.
It was a really fun morning in estate sale land.
Love love love those pink deer! Estate land was good to you today.

Estate sale land was indeed very good to you. Wouldn't it be interesting to meet some of these former crafty holiday loving owners.

Macaroni = festive. :) SO much good PINKness. A lady after my own heart.
Back for day two at The Junk ranch - trying to ingest coffee so I can DO THIS! (5:30 alarm - NO BUENO)

I once went to a sale where the lady of the house was obsessed with pink. Appliances, linens, furniture, all pink! I wish I could have lived there!
That bump chenille tree is awesome! And I have some of those Lustro Ware plastic doilies but none in pink. Must find!

We made the high heel shoes decorated with macaroni and spray-painted gold as a 4-H project one year, probably mid- to late-1960's. We put fake evergreenery and a red candle inside. Beautiful (not)!

Ok, I'm off to my closet to find an old shoe I can paint gold and throw some macaroni on :)

It must be such fun when a sale really hits on all of your collection cylinders! How nice to add such unique finds in so many categories and some in pink too! A perfect day in estate sale land!

Awesome finds, as always! After Shara, you live in the land of vintage plenty. I am so low on vintage Christmas this year that I am starting to freak out a little. That swan watering can is the bomb!

Lots of great finds, as usual! I love those Rosbro witches - but I've never found one in the wild. In fact I hardly find much Halloween stuff around these parts.

Sounds like an awesome way to start your day - PLUS you got your errands done! I love your pink ornaments the most - would you consider linking up to my new thrifting link-up at http://thriftasaurus.blogspot.com/? Thanks!

You would have loved my Great Aunt Minnie from Texas. She was an old widow and just about everything in her house was pink. In addition, she and her husband built their small home themselves pushing all kinds of things into the wet stucco: broken china, jewelry, teeth, buttons -- you name it. All since torn down.
