I don't host Thanksgiving at my house, but spend it with my side of the family. I barely have time to decorate with all my shows and crafting. Lucky for me Thanksgiving is a quick holiday to decorate for as I only have one bin...Thanksgiving is one of the harder holidays to hunt down vintage for. My front window this year is full of cardboard turkeys. I have a ton of them including two REALLY huge honeycomb ones. Most of my paper turkeys came from one estate sale where the woman had cutout decorations for about every holiday.
My china hutch is pretty much Thanksgiving decoration central for decorating.
All of my turkeys live on top of the cabinet. They are many types, but they are all vintage. Salt and pepper, candles, ceramic, spun cotton, pinecone and one lone candy container. I love the variety.
My pilgrim and indian candles live in the cabinet. There are a few fall leaf candles sprinkled in as well.
I like how easy the candles are to decorate with. I don't move my china hutch items, I just pop the pilgrims towards the front on the shelf. usually I tuck in some vintage Thanksgiving plates behind them, but I spaced that this year.
Indian candles are the hardest type to find and I was lucky to find this fellow yesterday.
Last but not least my kitchen windowsill got a little fall touch.
Complete with my November drinking glass. I found a set of glasses for each month of the year at an estate sale a few years ago. I saved a few and they are fun to add to holiday displays.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. Enjoy friends, family, turkey and be thankful. Happy day.
Love all your Thanksgiving decor! I just started collecting the vintage Gurley and Tavern candles last year, I love them.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Playing catch up on your blog! Still love seeing your Thanksgiving decorations. You're right...Thanksgiving decorating is easy. I just put some up here and there and easy to put away too. Found a couple turkey candles to add to my collection a few days ago. It's growing each year but slowly!
