I still go all out for holiday decorating despite having no kids living at home anymore. I enjoy getting out all my vintage decorations and it is fun to see neighbors slow down and peek in as they walk by. Easter is in full swing of course.
This is my front window. For the past few years I have displayed my old headboard from a crib. That bunny just sets the mood for the craziness that is inside. It is surrounded by my vintage honeycomb eggs.
Picture heavy post. I have LOTS of Easter. My mantel holds my collection of spun head bunnies.
My coffee table holds my collection of metal Easter baskets and cotton chicks (with wire feet...I have a quirk about only collecting those with wire feet)
I switched out the lambs this year into this spot. I added my Easter baskets full of vintage packages of Easter grass and my sweet little pixie bunnies.
A few ceramic bunnies.
A collection of well loved stuffed bunnies.
A pair of the sweetest stuffed bunnies with great rubber faces. The one on the right is new to me this year. Ive been collecting these old cottage cheese containers for years. They came with Easter graphics on the sides and directions to poke holes at the top edge, add a string and make an Easter basket. There are a huge variety of them out there. I am lucky with those that I have found.
I've got a thing for vintage Easter nodder candy containers. I usually end up adding a couple each year.
Easter egg dying boxes and packets. The graphics are wonderful.
My china hutch is always grand central for holiday decor. Old candy boxes and vintage bunnies decorate the top. Inside the hutch live an assortment of old chicks.
So many chicks and ducks in assorted sizes and designs.
Bunnies live above my window on a skinny ledge.
Vintage hat shaped candy boxes work really well for stands for my collection of old Easter candles.
I hate to play favorites, but I REALLY love all these bunnies clustered together in my kitchen nook. Its a tiny area, but those bunnies are crammed in (in an orderly fashion)
I just got the little green and yellow bunny with the baby carriage last weekend.
So many Easter treasures. I really love this holiday.
Hello Laurie; Just wanted to say how much I enjoy the photos of your Easter collections. Easter is definitely one of my favourite holidays as well, and it was such a joy to see all the items you have amassed over the years. Your instagram is amazing too, and I am in awe of your collections, your home, and your beach house. I think you are definitely worth a book or two! Happy Easter to you and yours.

I think your Easter decorations re about to catch up to your Christmas! That's a good thing! My newest obsession are the old hard plastic Rosbro and Irwin Easter (and Christmas) candy containers. I mentioned I sold a bunny pushing a carriage not long ago. I sold it so I could keep the other dozen bunnies I found at the same sale! Now they are FREE to me! I don't see your foil eggs here, but that is my other favorite Easter collection. I have scaled back on my Easter things and only keep my very favorite. It's hard to do! Happy Easter lady!

I love the bunnies in your kitchen nook the most! So happy and cheerful. I wish I had a kitchen nook so I could do the very same thing! No nook for me means I will have to live vicariously through you... which I do a lot. 😊 Great stuff. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and inspiration with us all.

Holy Toledo!
I'm again left speechless on your collection! It just seems to get better and better. I'm running out of room and maybe the mood trying to come up with different ways to decorate. I'll just keep enjoying yours :-)
As always...thanks for sharing!

Your displays are absolutely incredible - I just love them all! Your post left me feeling guilty because this is the first year I didn't pull out any vintage Easter decor because my 27yr. old son would not be home to see it - I should have done it for me, since I enjoy it so much, and I did miss seeing all of my bunnies, chicks and eggs. Oh well, at least I got to see your amazing collections.
